I have been a local business man in Haldimand County for 30yrs. Starting at your favorite pizza place in Dunnville, Caledonia & Hagersville, BUCKWHEAT’S PIZZA, SUBS, WINGS & THINGS. I owned the Caledonia & Hagersville locations before selling them and becoming a Realtor in 2002 with COLDWELL BANKER J. KAZI REALTY in Hagersville/Waterford. It didn’t take long to be a top producer with this office and soon bought the Hagersville franchise and have been the BROKER/OWNER of COLDWELL BANKER FLATT REALTY since 2012.
I am from FLATT RD., in Waterdown, with most of my early years in Hamilton before coming to Dunnville at age 11 with my parents, sister and brother. As a child I had aspirations of being a Fireman. Never in a million years did I think I’d stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life.
As the years went by, I worked my way from farm hand to gas jocky at the local Co-Op GasBar, never wavering in my resolve to become the best version of myself with each career move.
I got into the real estate industry 24 years ago when I expressed, to my wife, that I was getting tired of working with teenagers and my restaurant and she said I would be a great Realtor. I sold half of the business to my partner and immediately got the education and found that the only area Brokerage that would return my call was Janet Kazakevicius the Broker/Owner of the Hagersville Coldwell Banker.
I was like a dog to a bone. Any advice Janet could give me I used. Becoming successful from Cold Calling leads that are still paying off today.

I live in Dunnville with 4 out of 6 children still at home. In my free time, I enjoy coaching lacrosse/hockey, cooking, smoking food, fermenting and making hot sauce.
